It's good, but levels should reset smoothly (the player just drops back into the start position) after half a second or so, rather than popping up a message and then using room_restart();

I'm actually quite liking games that don't punish the player at all, recently. Instead of 'dying', one should be able to go back in time a few seconds to a point where they DIDN'T screw everything up, and continue from there, as opposed to from the start of the entire level.

i'd strongly recommend you add some screenshots and further information to your first post. I was very close to just closing this tab, like others have apparently done, without playing your game at all! Anyway..

I'm immensely confused. I suppose I should have expected it from the game's title, but there really should be some way of AVOIDING death. Otherwise the player plays for MAYBE 30 seconds, then goes "well this is fkng annoying, I'm getting punished for no reason whatsoever" and quits. Not many people enjoy frustration. Game design hint of the day!

Graphics in-game and the music were excellent. Really cannot praise these features enough.

I felt the menu was a bit mismatching, though? Needs some more audio/visual feedback, and more explanation. The monologue at the start didn't REALLY introduce why we're in a forest. And there wasn't a prompt to select the open verb. Little things like that!

Honestly, I just got a bit impatient having to redo sections again and again, because this isn't personally my sort of game; it needs to be a bit more forgiving for me! More checkpoints, but no health and no life, could be good?

Anyway, best of luck! You've got a game that really does look quite nice. Maybe add some more information about the game in the first post to try and draw some more interest!

Could you upload a.zip instead of a .rar file, please?

Pretty cool, though I don't find the audio cues enough to give me direction. I feel like I need some other hints to tell if I've walked past other tunnel routes; for example, if I was walking around in total darkness, I'd have my hands on the wall so I could feel for other paths. But any visual indicators would kinda kill the point of this, right?

Another idea would be randomly generating the maze that the hapless hero falls into!
