If yal are wondering why there are so people against gay marrage, it's not because we hate people who are gay, it's because marriage has always been between a man and a woman, if gays want t get married why don't they just make up their own union? instead of messing with the christian's invention.

Very few people would be for outlawing gays, just outlawing their "marriage".

A UNION OF two things is called a marriage. In construction you marry 2 studs if you need a stronger structure. 

Obviously many words have multiple meanings, the "marriage"  where you walk down the aisle is obviously different than the "marriage" in construction.
Anyway I'm getting tired of arguing, it's completely useless. I'm outa here.

Animals don't get married, most male animals impregnate as many females as possible and don't even try to help take care of the offspring.
Really if you are looking at things from a non-christian perspective marriage is unnatural.

So yeah, just because animals do it, doesn't mean it's natural or moral for humans to do it.

Animals can't talk about giving their consent.

Animals don't have the same intellectual capacity as humans.

Animals can't have a meaningful relationship with a human in that way. Try having a discussion with a fish on life plans.

Animals cannot support a family. 

Animals do not understand the concepts of marriage.

 

It would be a meaningless ceremony since the animal won't understand, it won't be there to help support you and it would be incomprehensible to the animal what a relationship is.

 

Why have a marriage when one party has no idea what a marriage is? It seems immoral since we do not know whether the animal accepts.

 

Whereas with other kinds of marriage the humans can give confirmation.

I see, so those things aren't very comparable except in how unnatural they seem to me.

Examples: To me gay marriage is unnateral as cheating on someone. To me gay marriage is as unnateral as trying to control the weather. To me gay marriage is as unnateral as trying to grow human organs inside animals.

They are entirely different subjects, but both seem unnateral to the same degree.

I think it's as wrong and unatural as someone having sex with an animal, will this opinion make people hate me?
