Tank Invader

27 January 2013 - 03:20 AM

I've been working on a physics based tank game as I'm getting familiar with Studio's physics system. This game features vehicle physics and an infinite, randomly-generated level. The goal is to drive as far as possible and to destroy everything in your path, while getting the highest score possible.

The controls are simple: WASD or arrow keys to move, left click to fire cannon, right click to fire machine gun, and space to reset if you flip the tank.
There's not much to keep it exciting, but I hope you have fun and leave some feedback for me.

Problems with GM:Studio

27 September 2012 - 11:52 PM

I downloaded the free version of GM:Studio on my new PC, but ran into a problem. I tried to run some of the demo projects, each one compiled successfully but would not run. I restarted my computer and tried again. Same result. Then I made a new empty project and added an single room, but even that wouldn't run. What's the problem here? The compile target list is empty. I'm thinking that is normal since I'm using the free version, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
Any help would be appreciated.

Smash

I thought it would be fun to make a breakout game, but since there are so many out there already, I wanted to do something different with mine. So I made it physics based. Because of this, you don't have to break every brick in each level. You can also knock them down.

Take control of two characters to solve various puzzles. Each characters's world is slightly different, which can make things more difficult.

My Tunes

I've been using FL Studio for quite a while now, and I thought I'd let you people hear some of my stuff.
Opinions and criticism welcome, since I'm self-taught and could probably use some pointers.

Edit: I removed the links and put a link to my newgrounds account audio page instead.
You are free to use any of them, if you think you could use one somewhere. I do not require any credit.
