Zelda Death Match

10 July 2009 - 11:39 PM

I got obsessed with Zelda ( ^_^ ), so I started an Online RPG. Zelda, of corse. What you do is create a profile, enter an IP address, connect to the internet, select a stage, select a game mode (either Deathmatch or Capture the Flag,)  then select a team & face other teams in either a Deathmatch or a Capture the Flag game. In deathmatch, each team faces eachother to see which team survives the longest. Should there be a time limit or just until every team except one dies? In CTF, every team faces eachother, trying to capture eachother's flag. Should there be 1 or more flags? Anyways, when you run out of hearts, you get sent to the main jail. Every... I don't know... 2-4 minutes, there's a jail break, and everybody in jail "Breaks Out." If one team member touches another team member in jail, that person gets out of jail.

In ZDM, you can also chat to other players by pressing ENTER.

Is there any other game modes you can think of, or any suggestions? Post a comment, please!

Zelda Lttp-style Mmorpg Level Ideas

10 July 2009 - 08:44 PM

Hi. I'm making a Zelda III: LTTP MMORPG game, and it's called "Zelda: Death Match" (coming soon...) All I need is level design ideas. If you can, could you send me a picture of one of your level ideas, made with Zelda 3 tilesets? You will get credit.

Thanks!

Test My Cv2 Online Engine

10 July 2009 - 03:04 AM

Hi. I'm working on a Castlevania 2 online adventure/rpg game. I just need a bit of help.

Okay, here's my story:
I work with gamemaker7  on a computer that does NOT have internet connection, but I got obsessed with online rpg/adventure games. So, I started an online game with CV2 graphics. I've finished most of it, but, like I said, I don't have a NET connection. "How the heck did you post this, then  :) ?!," I bet your thinking. Well, I used my Mom and Dad's computer. If someone could please try this out, I'd be very happy. Although, it won't be available for download for a few more days.

-Thanks!

P.S.
Give me feedback and suggestions/comments about the game so far when you're done trying it out.
