My opinion based on my experiences and evidence.

I met True Valhalla in the very early stages of his online game "Realm One Online" and to my knowledge am the longest lasting member in his following group per say.

In this time I have found TV to be an honest and extremely caring person. He has helped me countless time with my own projects. I think if you asked the community, they would confirm this. He has helped so many of us here.

Lately, he has dropped a project called myriad online and offered to return ALL donations made to him. I know you want to blame him for being money hungry, but being loyal and offering all that back?

Now my friendship over the years will make me biased here so I'll go on to other areas.

I started a web site called easy gml and the site never took off. Eventually I decided to turn the site into my book "EasyGML" and posted a thread in teaching.

Later I noticed my thread in teaching was gone and saw I had a message in my inbox.

The message kindly explained I had posted 2 of the same topics, one in web sites, and another in teaching.

He then explained How I could fix my error and obey the rules of the forum. It was a very fast and simple method and allowed me to get my book out in the teaching forum.

Many people here are saying his post is false, over exaggerated, or made up. The first point I would like to make on this involves the hacker himself.

The hacker provided information that belonged to users that was correct. You can't just easily guess a password.

Next, TV changed responses to make them grammatically correct. Nothing was over exaggerated and as said, things like ipb were changed to ip.board for understanding.

-monetization-
A lot of people are framing him for self-promoting his work and over monetizing his posts. He has not broke any rules and his posts stay very informal and I just don't see where these Framings come from.

Truth tho is people need to pay rent and no one can blame anyone for trying to make money here and there to stay alive.

Based on everything I know about TV and his work on the GMC, he has been great for everyone.

Take a member of the community that's touched so many other members in some way, and it becomes each one of those members business.

IPs can help a lot in tracking and neutralizing a hacker, but you have to consider how easy it is to bounce off another server. I'd expect a hacker of a moderate caliber to understand and avoid any tracks left by his IP.

More he pops out tho, the bigger his cyber footprint gets.

This isn't a flame war, just a highly opinionated topic where my options right and everyone else's is wrong

And then people like fatalsheep remind me how immature the community can be...
