this really isent a code but its my way of doing a forth value...yes, I said FORTH value(as in number)...I normaly use the lives, score, health as my numbers but i found another way...its more complicated which makes it fun
-First I draw a little 1 pixle dot as my sprite
-then I add "step" in the events
-in "step" i put:
if variable "y" is not equal to "-5" then...
variable "y" equals "-5"
I do that to hide it...
you may now how to do the fallowing so I wont put what you need to do to make that affective...ill just put what you need to do to finish this.
-I do the same for the "x" value, i set it to 0...but this time i put it in the event "room start"
-you can set the starting value to eny thing you want it to be
-then I can set the "new" number (if eny) to the game by editing the objects x position through code or events
-if you want to test this and dnt know what its value is then you can always change the begining "y" positionto +5
-you can copy this as much as you want to make a 5th number, a 6th number, a 10th number...even a 50th number...
have fun with this thing i found out
