Kingdom Engine Graphics

Hello again. You may have read this topic a while ago.
If so, you may know that i found a graphic artist.
Well, for reasons unknown, he seems to have stopped logging on.
That being said, i really liked his style, and i think a new post is needed.
Here is the topic for the game. It hasnt been updated recently, simply because ive lost gamemaker. Which is why im focusing on graphics before i download gamemaker again:

I would like for a single person to do the sprites with me, and if you would like to do it by yourself, please post and then PM me.
Even though i would like a single person to do graphics (i would really, really like it) i know that the possibilities are slim.

The following has been copy-paisted from my last topic:

Sprites needed (as of now):
Ally sprite:
I have the sprite for him shooting from the hip and standing still.

What i need: I need him aiming down the sights.(Marsiic & Omerta)

Enemy sprite:
The exact same as the Ally sprite. Use the standing still sprite to test it, and if i like it it would be nice if youd make the hipshot and ADS sprites for the enemy as well.


There may be more sprites requested (ex. instead of them all looking the same with different weapons, they will have different character models (a sniper looks different from a rifleman)

Weapon sprites:
ALL weapons should be scaled to the ally or enemy sprite (once their made) So it would be easier if the person who made the ally or enemy sprites would make weapons as well. these should be side view (as if for a platform game) and topdown view if possible
Each weapon needs two kinds. They will be the exact same, except for the looks.
Assault rifle: Any kind, really. Im going more for a modern look, with rails if possible. please NO Ak47!
RPG/Missle launcher: Again, more modern.
Sniper rifle: Bolt action. Dosnt really need two different virsions of this.
Submachine gun: Something submachine gun looking. Like a UMP 45 or MP5
Light Machine Gun: Modern, like an M249 SAW
Shotgun: something resembling a Sega semi-auto


Wall sprite:
A simple wall sprite. needs to be tileable
Size: 16,16

Ground:
Simple ground. Not really needed. Something generic. Will be placeholder.

Dead body:
Example
Like the above example, except matching the style of the corresponding ally or enemy. Please do not draw any blood or gore on it, as it will be added in later.

If something you make is used, you will be credited.

Hello, ive been making making a top down shooter called "Kingdom" and the graphics are horrible (except for the tank and helicopter sprites, which I didnt make).
I feal that its time to get some sprites done.
The game has come along quite a bit from the begining. Here is the topic:

Last time I asked for a team member, though, I got a compleatly dead topic  -_-

Sprites needed (as of now):
Ally sprite:
Look: Generic rifleman. Example. (less blue, more urban or gray)
size: Between 46,46 and 60,60 (see sprites in game)
Positions: One sprite of him standing still (Example)One holding gun at the hip (Example.) one holding gun while looking down the sight (Example). Bolth should not actualy be holding guns (Example.). And recoil from the guns (1-3 frames) as if shooting.

Enemy sprite:

Object dissable/not draw

I would like to dissable objects outside of the view, or a certain distance from the player. How would i go about doing this?
Also, would not drawing an object that is outside of the room reduce lag? If so, how would i do this?

Kingdom


Kingdom is a top down shooter (TDS) engine.[/center]
Some (but not all) features:
  • Fully destroyable environment
  • 3 different vehicles
  • 7 different classes, with 13 different weapons
  • A suface system, so blood, rubble, bodies, and shells never dissapear
  • A gore system
  • A dynamic lighting system
  • And much, much more!

Simple lighting (not dynamic, like the shell casings, but it looks like it is, and takes up less memory)
Much better crosshair
Movement isnt instance (turning)

Switching views

Im making vehicles in my game, and i just added a helicopter. Well, the helicopters kindof big. I need to zoom out the view.

I already know how to switch the view from one object to another, but i need to know how to not only do that, but how to switch to view 1, which would be a zoomed out virsion of view 0.

Im new to views :D
