You don't have to deactivate anything.

Once you've reformatted all that is necessary is for you to go and get your serial from the website (it will be sent to you via email) and enter it in the software as you have done previously and it will be activated.

Be glad YoYo no longer use Softwrap. I've had to pay for Game Maker three times in the past because of that softwrap crap. Thank them for finally implementing their own payment system :D

Besides import/export resource, what GM:HTML5 features are you talking about?

With any luck it will be similar to Microsoft's ALM way of doing things.

The import/export is good, but not ideal for working with big teams at the end of the day.

In the settings you have the option to keep the aspect ratio as it is, or stretched it to fill, along with setting your own % to scale it to.

A much simpler, but much more consuming way of doing it would be the save_screen() function, and then using time-lapse software or something similar to stitch all the images together. Much simpler, and would get the job done, but wouldn't be the most user-friendly way of doing things.

In Topic: Change walking sound effects depending on terrain?

27 October 2011 - 12:35 PM

There are a number of ways of achieving this depending on the type of game you are making, however you failed to state what game type you're creating so I, and I don't doubt everyone else is clueless as to whether your game is a top-down, a platformer, an iso, or whatever it may be; So, before I reply with any examples, or explanations, you'll have to give a little more info.

EDIT: Also, next time post in the correct area, being "Novice and Intermediate Help" - This forum is for discussions of the community.
