This happened yesterday, so anyways, when I run a GM game, a white screen appears and some yellow barcode looking letter's appear around the bottom.
I'm running a Windows Vista btw.
Does anyone know how to fix this?/Is there a way to fix this?

Metriod Charge Beam?

Title says all. Anyways, I'm trying to make the charge beam for my metriod game. And I can't seem to get it right 
like the part when you hold a button for a certain amount of time before the charge beam charges up. (And without holding you'd shoot a bullet(I already know how to the bullet part)) and I also, I need the charge beam charge up sprite to follow samus at a certain position.
Soooo...how would I make this?
