Zircon, could you explain why you are 100% sure that they don't?

About the question, well I'm not sure. I don't think they'd copy a complete game, but every game designer gets inspiration and ideas from other games.

If the question is: "Do they take your game idea, and not publish your game if you submit it?"
Then, I'm not sure, very possible they could, but I haven't heard any (bad) word from them before...

Maybe you could email them rather than ask a bunch of people that don't know and have no connection with big fish games. To be honest, this is borderline off topic. I'm sure you would get a more useful response from bigfishgames.

lol! Like bigfish is gonna tell you they screw gamemakers up. Of course they'll tell you that everything is ok and honest. It's nothing bad to ask that on a forum, maybe someone knows anything about those guys.

Other way around, why would they take over your ideas? Your ideas ain't worth sh*t, neither are mine or other gamemaker ideas.

Tarik; just read the mission statement. Their business is marketing. As in, you make a game, they do the promotion and possibly distribution. Nowhere does it indicate they'd care about your game idea. In fact, I've never heard of any reputable company *anywhere* that does that, because everybody and their mother has a "great" game idea that is a surefire hit.

I'm going to have to side with zircon on this one. It is very rare for companies to listen to your game ideas for free, let alone pay you for them.
