Last Minute Rush Version 2 - December 21st, 2007

Merry Christmas everyone =)! I decided to fix up some bugs
that the replies have revealed for quite some time now! =D
In addition to that, I've also added the following features,

- New music
- Some changes to the graphics
- Fixes in the dialogs
- Changes to the mini games
- New snow particle system
- New Npcs
- Many small details

I hope you'll enjoy this game as much as I enjoyed
creating it =)!

In this Christmas-filled world, you are a girl who is looking
for work so that you can buy presents for each of your friends.
You are given 7 Days, yes... 7 days, to explore the city, and

This game is great. I like the graphics and the message system. It's simple, but has some fun stuff to do. And is it their birthdays or is it Christmas in 7 days?

There's a snow particle system implemented in the game, which adds to the christmas feel =)

Great for a first game. At first the graphics of the house kinda disappointed me, but then when I got outside I was happy again. It's good that you did the graphics yourself and made them good, especially it being your first game.

Thanks! Yeah... I couldn't change the layout of the house,
because....
Well...
there's a specific event that will happen in your house later in the
game, and it requires the whole house to be in it's correct layout.

You'll figure it out if you keep playing

I'm still playing the game, it's really good. The graphics' styles are out of sync but it's alot of fun going around playing minigames to get money and buy stuff.

I'll post back once I've played the game more.

That was fun, I got 61/80 (76%) Good game overall, it was fun playing ^^

Wow,this is a quality first game.Looks like you put alot of hard work into this.I'll be glad to see your future projects!
Also,im thinking that you should make the fish you catch items-and you sell them later.
I wish life were more like this game...then i could 800 dollars by throwing darts at a circle!My favorite minigame,by the way.

You should make another game similar to this (different though of course), because this game is alot of fun!

works for me ( i got 66% ) but i think there is a bug or somthng i bought 9 presents and at the end i onley got 7 to give away so i couldint gove someone a present

but overall WOW it AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Don't worry, 66% is a pretty good HIGHSCORE.

- Yeah, you have to right click > save target as... to download it.

- Wow, Thanks! Oh, um.. That isnt really an error,

it's just that you can only buy 1 of the SAME ITEM. So in total,

you can have up to 27 different items, because you can't give

the SAME ITEM to more then 1 person.

you see, its kinda of a 1 time game but try and get different scores, the ending music will be different

This game was good. I loved the concept behind it. It was completely nonviolent, and it suprisingly actually captured the feel of frantic shopping.

Things I really dug about this game:

Main Map Graphics - The main map was nice. Everything came together perfectly and gave it a feel of winter holidays.

Character Graphics - The close up shots were nice.

The Music - The music also gave a good feeling of Christmas.

The Mini Games - Most of the minigames were fun. My personal favorites were the dog watching and the dart.

The End Scene - Just nice. A shame the MP3 was such low quality. (bitwise I mean)

The fact that you could determine you score by paying attention in game!

Things I did not dig:

Graphics in mingames - alot of the minigame graphics looked rushed and incomplete. Compared to the rest of the game they were a bit obvious.

The minigames - One minigame in particular made me mad. That was the guessing game. Complete random chance is seldom fun.

Figuring out what people wanted - It was difficult to determine what set off the games auto item identifier. I thought it was when you talked to people, but go figure.

Well, good game. I'll be keeping an eye on things you make in the future.

Oh yeah, to give you a completely useless number: 10099/8.6???
