Untitled Game Version: 0.0.3.45
(Title obviously is subjected to change)

A game where you explore, craft, survive and do other stuff!
The world is randomly generated.

 

What's new?

  • The game is now moved to made again from scratch using GM:Studio! (Yaaaay!)
  • Infinite room! (May subject to change.)
  • Better inventory system!
  • The game's code is now much more organized. :D (You wouldn't care would you?)

It reminds me of dwarf fortress

Well, it is kind-a inspired by dwarf fortress adventure mode and some other roguelike games such as ADOM and Cataclysm.

:GM123: What's new?

  • A simple inventory system! (You can now carry with both of the player's hands!)
    • Press to open Inventory!
    • Ability to pickup and drop items.
    • Items stack up to 99
    • Inventory slot has 2 slots for now.
  • Added sounds and changed some existing ones. 
  • Fixed some minor bugs.

Yeah definitely Dwarf Fortressy which is cool.

It's got a clean design and plays pretty solid for what it is at this point.

 

Would you say this is a prehistoric setting? Are you thinking of other themes to incorporate? Can we craft some pants for this dude?

Hmm... Not really sure about the setting yet but prehistoric seems to fit. I haven't thought of how it would look like when the game is complete. I guess I'm a bit spontaneous. The game will just stay as an adventure game for now and will slowly add challenging and fun mechanics. I'm recreating the inventory system again from scratch due to some inconsistencies. About crafting his pants, I have something in mind where the player would design the clothing and apply respective stats like cumbersome if the clothing is too bulky... Anyways, thanks for the feedback!

(How do you get screenshots from games in GM:S like in GM 8?)
