Because it's Valentines day, and because we love the Pi..... with the help of Vlambeer, Locomalito and 2Dcube, we've released 3 amazing games - totally FREE!

So go, see for yourself how well these games run on the Raspberry Pi.

One thing we do ask though.  Please don't share the games! Send folk to the webpage to download them for themselves. Stats for this project are very important. Just click to download - and enjoy!

https://www.yoyogames.com/pi

Note: You can't have the new OpenGL driver enabled, and you'll need at least 256Mb GPU RAM.

How do you get them to run on a pi zero? All I get is a black screen after executing the main file.  :(

...Or is it loading?

Ok guys, to get it working, you'll need to make a root account, and change a couple of hdmi modes. I wonder if you need to do that, or have an external soundcard...

Not sure.... depends on download counts etc....  We need downloads.... lots of them - so spread the word! :)

Also, just tried on the latest JESSIE image, and aside from having to set a GPU split of 256MB, and disabling the OpenGL driver, run fine.

Link to an archive.is of the forum you want to link, should keep the mods happy

Full I assume. Well aside from disabling the new OpenGL driver, and pushing the GPU RAM up to 256Mb, they run fine here - using the default "pi" user.

EDIT: fixed typeo

Ok, I found the problem. I was only giving the GPU 64 MB. Raising it to 192 (To allow some more system ram compared to 256.) made it work. Thanks!

Hi!

Is it possible to make them work in openELEC?

when I try to run any of them it says:

error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Please it would be awesome to launch them from kodi like other emulators and indie games... I wouldn't mind making an addon to launch them or something if they work...

thanks!

You'll need to apt-get all the missing components... Just like x86 Linux, we'll only ever certify one distro. There are FAR too many home brew ones out there to make sweeping claims.

The good news of course, is that for the Pi, just buy another cheap SD card and make up a new disk.... its increadibly easy to swap OS' on the Pi!

I installed them into another sd I have with latest retropie (with jesse) and I included them into "Ports" menu like cave story, doom... but, when they start, any of them recognize my usb plugged dualshock....  :(

Just received my raspberry pi 3, installing raspbian and soon will start building the GMArcade :D

Hope the raspberry export module has a good chance of getting released, otherwise it'll be a 3 game only arcade :(

YYGs has not even committed to releasing the Pi Export. There is no way they can comment on the potential price.

If the Bible truly is inspired by God, you would think that somebody as omnipotent and all-knowing would have known to get his message out using TCP instead of UDP.

But if you took my pricing recommendations you'd make a negative £3,136.86 profit. That's how it works, right?

i would price it at the same price the latest full Pi always seems to be so around 35 to 40 dollars or 25 to 30 pounds and need the pro version of game maker, that would work well and temp a lot of pi users to game maker i would think.
