failed to find Build Tools revision 23.0.1 after upgrade

I am working on a project what went fine so far.

However, after updating to GamerMaker Studio v1.4.1675 (r40508) problems started.


Normally I could run the project where target = Android without any problem.

After upgrade I see the following error information:


cmd /c ""C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\GameMaker-Studio\Android\runner\gradle\gradlew"" build -x assembleDebug

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:

A problem occurred configuring project ':com.RB.FingerBalls'.

> failed to find Build Tools revision 23.0.1


I checked and C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\GameMaker-Studio\Android\runner\gradle the files

This happens when I choose target = Android

What must I do to get it and make it work again?

I need this asap so I can continue with the project.

In C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\GameMaker-Studio\Android\runner\gradle the files 

"gradlew" as normal file and

"gradlew" as batch-file

Install Android SDK Build Tools as instructed in your SDK Manager.

I'm having issues too, after updating to the latest GameMaker: Studio version.
When I use target Android the game crashes at start up right after displaying GameMaker: Studio logo on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (Android Version: 4.4.4). I've compiled for this target and tested on the same device without any problem before updating.
When I target Android (YYC) it compiles and runs the game: the problem is that this target is so buggy! I'm getting weird graphical glitches...
So I've reinstalled/updated all required SDK;
- JDK 7
- NDK r10e
- Build Tools 23.0.1
- Android SDK Tools 24.4.1
- Android SDK Platform-tools 23.0.1
- SDK Platform (API 7, API 8, API 13, API 15, API 16, API 23) and Google APIs
- Android Support Repository
No luck... I'm having the same issues.

Hi ,


i had the same issue and solved it during install the Android Support Library in the Extras Folder.
