(This issue has NOT been resolved)

So I just downloaded the Lost Garden tiles: http://www.lostgarde...e-graphics.html

And I loaded up the tiles in my GameMaker project.

Here are the properties of my imported tile sheets:

Here is how my map looks in GameMakers Room Editor:

And finally, here's how the map looks when i run my game:

I don't know why this is happening, my game is not using any scaling of any kind at this point so I'm completely clueless why this is occurring and how to fix it.

If your view is at a decimal coordinate this can happen.

I got this and I turned off Interpolate colours between pixels and it was gone.

For the record, my room is not using any views at this point.

I just turned off "Interpolate colors between pixels" in my global game settings and here's what happened.

Thanks for the reply, but if you read my topic thoroughly you would of noticed that I mentioned i am not using any viewports or scaling.

I'm using the Lost Garden tileset and this tileset has huge bufferzones that are not consistent in size. So I'm looking for the best way to use these tilesets to avoid the lines between tiles issue.

Ah, okay, very sorry then! I would think the only thing you can do is get into Photoshop or Gimp or whatever and re-create the tile set yourself, ensuring that the spacing is correct and that you have no semi-transparent pixels along the edges etc...

I just aligned the tiles and stripped all transparent pixels but I still get the seams (lines) between the tiles.

Here's my updated tileset:

Have you tried what I suggested about tileset champion? The images show the classic symptoms...

Nocturne is right. If you fixed your tileset and still get those lines. Your problem will be solved by doing what's explained here:
