Alright, finally got hype train on tracks~! Join the hype train, too!
(specifically, one can join hype train by posting in the topic; the program should add the poster to the train within an hour or so)

Currently it has rather uninteresting backgrounds and nearly no members sprites (aside from me, dadio and Snail_Man). If you want your sprite to be added, please do send me one through PM. The dimensions should be within 96x96. Please try to make it consistent with the other graphics style (rather few colours, clear borders). The animation speed is 60 FPS.
If you can't really draw, you might give me a sketch/description and I'll try to if I get some time (though note I'm not the best artist out there). If you can draw and want to help out with a few other members or have fun backgrounds ideas, I definitely won't mind. ^^"

And yes, it *is* supposed to be soaring the skies.

Hope you enjoy~!

I am currently with my relatives because of Easter so the dance gif will come sometime later.

YES. WE ALL SHOULD. Could you imagine winning a jam just to receive potatoes in the mail every day for weeks?

Two and a half years of game development taught me the joy of making something unique and unconventional. It is not good enough to make a game fun when there are way too many other freeware games that make fun their selling point.

I got to learn a new thing about BBCode tags today. I - I mean there's a tag that I was not aware and that is:
[member=member name]
And if I put this:
[member=dadio]
This would come out:
dadio
without any need of getting the url to the profile and the url tag.
HayManMarc
JackOatley
It's just toooo easy!
Don't tell me that I'm still living in the stone age, pls.

Not that I don't mind them, I just wouldn't like you to run out of them long before the Jam starts. ^^"

Hype update!

New user sprites has been added since the train launching: nvrogers (by request), HayManMarc (by request) and Nitemare38 (because I felt like doing it). If you want to get a sprite for yourself, feel free to shoot me a PM with sprite/sketch/description. Remember the sprites have 96x96 dimensions and are animated with 60 FPS speed (though of course you can stretch the animation if it's too fast).

Also, I added an option to add custom wagons aside from user sprites (tested on JackOatley's wagon). Regular wagons are pretty fine, but if you want to add another touch to your interiors, you're by all means free to! The wagons have two states - exterior (when the view is not focused on the wagon and its wall is shown) and interior (when the view is focused on the wagon and it's shown who's inside). The basic wagon sprite can be found in spoiler below; feel free to play around with that! Remember though that each wagon should have same width and has same wheels attached!
Spoiler

Enjoy~!

(also, I might be away for quite a few hours due to Eatern matters)

It seems there are quite a few former Jam games involved; at least I can identify the character from Exkakx' brainf***ing game from pirates Jam, and a winged goddess character from RekNepZ' game from memories Jam that, in fact, was a reference to a game from earlier Jam.

Could someone gather up the titles and Jams? The top middle picture is Brain Pirates Legacy from GMC Jam #13.

Top right image is from "Toothpaste Man" which I recall was Cantavanda's entry in the 8th, 9th or 10th jam, at least the last jam he participated in before his initial ban

Second row, third column is actually a forum game of all things. One I ran a long time ago. Good 'ol One Hit Point Wonders. Kinda surprised to see it outside of that subforum, huh.

It's this post specifically. Perhaps not all of these are GMC Jam entries?

GUYS, MY THEORY!

Red refers to the shown game's topic.

Blue refers to the entry post of the shown game.

Green refers to a single word from those two games (one being a forum game), maybe the title? Or perhaps what is shown in the picture?

EDIT: The numbers maybe mean the Xth post in the topic or the Xth word of the game's title?

Breaking the Facade | Isra's Wings | Random forum game post
DoodleDoo | Chickens and Moles | Moose's Pancake Adventure

Not sure where to go from here though. i was thinking the same as 11clock, but Maggot in a Frying Pan doesn't seem to have its own topic.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if puzzles in the end would end up with specific letters (e.g. "4-I" or "11-T") or other vague theme description (e.g. "the theme has 14 letters"), possibly having a few puzzles per letter to keep puzzles flowing without making theme too easy (handicap is easier in that regard, I guess).

That way puzzle-savvy people would have something to crack *and* other users would be able to happily engage in random theme guessing (the latter of which was lacking in the last pre-Jam).

I wonder what sort of information hold Snail_Man's clues.

6 | 13 | 9

3 | 7 | 1

Those are the numbers. (Excluding the one on the right, I don't know where that's from).

So the GMC topic is topic number 653679

The post is post 1

and the word is 13 + some number

EDIT: Or the one on the right hand side could be a red herring, and the word is number 13, "Disasters" which was the theme of GMC Jam 8.

I might join if I like the theme. It's been a while.

Also, the handicap could be:  The _ _ _ _ _ of your game must be...

The second word could be story, sound/audio etc.
