INFO:
This game was made for a school assignment in 8 weeks and only forms the basis of a much greater project!
Grab a friend, grab a couch, snatch two gamepads and start Desperate Knightin'!

GAME IDEA:
Fight together with a friend through the 'Bronze Keep', a castle filled with dungeons, enemies and puzzles.
You can throw each other at enemies to either set your foes ablaze or to freeze them.
Hurl each other to high 'unreachable' places to solve puzzles, and ultimately slay 'Taurus Omega', the evil creature ruling this castle.

Alongside all the collaboration you also have to collect more treasure than your buddy in order to win.

So... betraying each other is another aspect in this game! Throw your friend into boiling lava, slicing axes and other nasty, dangerous things to reduce their combo to 0!

Key features:

18 levels filled with combat and puzzles + an endboss
An unique throw & combo system.
Gamepad support (plug and play)

Aah those pixels look too good and i simply love 2 player games.

Well It's time to test , I hope it meets my expectations.

EDIT:

Me and my friend really loved the gameplay. It was hard to understand the controls at start but we figured it out :)

I just really love the graphics but one thing which ruins them for me is that they are blurry. (Probably a interpolate colors between pixels problem)

I will surely be waiting for the second map ;)

EDIT 2:

Woah that minotaur boss was awesome

Thanks for your reply! Glad you enjoyed the game man :)

The blurry graphics are indeed caused by the interpolation between pixels thingy, but without it the game will hurt your eyes when the camera zooms in and out.

As we have vacation progress is non existent. I'm planning on continuing the project, it'll take a while though.

Once again, thank you for your reply, it really motivates :)

Wow, this looks pretty neat.

Also, it would be awesome on the Ouya!

Maybe turn interpolation off while the game is normally progressing and on when the view resizes?

Dude, this is amazing! Seems really polished and well done. You should definitely try to get this on Steam Greenlight, I think it could be very successful.

Because of 'things' happening I cannot continue working on this game. I'm not abandoning the project though, it's just on hold (don't know for how long :/)
