Downloading now xD If it is good I may use it + 39dll to make yet ANOTHER Online game xD. It would be my first online platformer though.

Wow, really great lib. but I was wondering if it were possible to make it so that you can put in an option to use double or even triple jumping in the jump command.

THE BEST LIB I HAVE EVER SEEN SO FAR! You actually put some time into making the icons too! Most people whiped together something in 5 min, but this shouws that you really put some good effort into this! I will definatly use this, however, rather you require credit or not and how credit should be displayed should be added to your 1st post. I will give you credit, and would like to know how you would like it displayed.

Hi I'm using
"If enter from top than"
"Platform grip called" (for horizontally moving platform)
"Else"
"Collision called."

The platform grip works, but if the platform changes direction the object that has gripped it does not change direction with it, so it just slides off.

Any idea how I can fix this, because it is the last thing I have to do for my player controlled object.

yes its ok but its out of date and mine has more functions and abilities
like when in water and allows more settings and some coin functions and it tells u exaclty what to do and comes with an example

plz note:mine is ultimate platform version 4

Does yours have a "working" platform grip? IE: If the platform changes direction while your on it, you wont keep going in it's original direction?

Scripting all of the physics works just as good. Actually scriping it adds more customization also. Now there is one thing that I like about it and cannot figure out how to script which is to check if the player colided on top of the platform, sides, or bottom. This is a little easier and quicker, but it allows less customization.

That was a nice clean lib, good smooth example too. I found one bug however. That is I am assuming it is a bug. When you are in the air and then press "up" and "left" or "right". You will practically be teleported to one side of the room depending whether you pressed left or right. This is what I found playing your example. If you can fix it that would be pretty cool.

can someone please teach me how to make a characters jumping sprite display correctly?

i want him to punch on the ground and in the air
when he jumps it shows his jumping sprite but when i press left or right it plays his walking animation in the air.

My, I had almost forgotten about this old Library I made until a very nice person messaged me a few days ago. I really need to expand this and fix some things, I don’t know how soon I can start working on a new version – but it needs to happen. It would be great to release a better more educational version. Thanks to everyone who has posted! I will read though the posts deeper later; I am a bit rushed at this second. :)

I found lag IN YOUR EXAMPLE - when I jump and press left + up or right + up The player jumps to nearest wall like that i can jump from one place to rooms end!
Ah my english iz bad - check your self! Jump then left+up or right +up

I very much like this. It is really good and makes me think of a basic engine for the game jumper(or jumper 2). I agree you should add double jumps though. 8/10.

Not bad. Needs a double jump action and I seem to have problems with the room speed set to 60 FPS.

1 problem i found, the moving platform drgging you doesn't stop dragging you until you jump, if you run of it you still get pulled along, otherwise its great, 9/10
