Today we are lifting the curtain on YoYo Games’ Showcase Awards honoring the best games entered into our Showcase in 2013! The winning developer will receive a trophy, will be promoted through YoYo Games social media channels and will be featured on the front page of our showcase. The best part about our awards is that our community gets to pick the winning game!

We’ve selected 12 of our favourite games which were added to our showcase in 2013 based on the criteria of quality, polish, gameplay, music, visuals and fun and we’re now turning it over to you. Visit our Facebook Page to check out the finalists and vote for your favorite. Voting closes 2/06 and the winner will be announced here 2/10.

See a video of the 2013 finalists on our Youtube Page

And, don’t forget to enter your game for consideration in our Showcase for 2014. This year we’ll be highlighting one special showcase game each month, which will automatically be entered as a finalist in our Showcase Awards for 2014.

Thanks again to all of the outstanding developers who submitted games for the showcase in 2013!

Question - if a game made it into the Showcase in 2013, but not into the Showcase Awards 2013, is it eligible to be in the Showcase Awards 2014 along with new games?

I think it wouldn't be fair. It's like your releasing a movie in 2013 and it wins an oscar in 2020. It makes no sense

The time per clip in that video is really short.
