Alright, using Lune's infos I found out that taking the numbers from the first image, from 10 to 1, and replacing the numbers, you obtain this:

the ...e e..ht .e.e. ... ...e .... th.ee t.. ..e

and replacing them with some numbers, here's the result:

the ...e e..ht .e.e. ... ...e .... th.ee t.. ..e
||| |||| ||||| ||||| ||| |||| |||| ||||| ||| |||
the nine eight seven ... ...e .... three t.. one

Some can be different numbers, like t.. that can be TEN or TWO.

Am I right?

EDIT: ATTENTION! I got something new. It's a countdown!

the ...e e..ht .e.e. ... ...e .... th.ee t.. ..e
||| |||| ||||| ||||| ||| |||| |||| ||||| ||| |||
ten nine eight seven six five four three two one

So, is the handicup a countdown?

EDIT2: or maybe not. It goes down because I read the numbers from the tenth to the first. *facepalm*

So the first picture is just a time-wasting distraction?

Or maybe the handicup is puzzles?
