Is an exploring game that sets you in different sides of the world.
 
This version comes with an extended gameplay, hidden treasures, and new objects for your inventory;
Also you are able to choose between 2 gameplay modes, that will change your gameplay completely;
By the way, you can change the options of sounds, language and controls.

Wow, neat! Love it!

 

I can't say much about the game, it's already well-made, so no comment. Except the fact that you use same tile to all solid object.

Dude, what? No. Please tell me you're not going to take so long to update. I like this game and I wanna see more of it!

 

I really like Bat-Dude's look (I don't know what he's called) and animations. You should totally give him glowing red eyes when it's nighttime. The rest of the graphics are okay. The signs and the boxes are kinda plain, and the tiles are repetitive, but I can easily tell what they're supposed to be, which is good.

 

The effects are great though! I like how the screen shakes if you hit the wall with the hyper glide. The day/night thing is very cool. You could do some really interesting stuff if you time the transition for when you're at certain points of the level, or give different abilities for night and day.

 

I didn't like that walking was so slow for the huge level you have, it should be like 2x faster. The controls are a bit awkward as well. Z, X, and C would probably be better off than Z, S, and X. You may also want to make the HUD bigger. It's not immediately obvious where the Energy/Health bar is, and which is which. I didn't realize the red dots were my health until I died at the part where you have to dash AND hit Z to destroy the boxes. It might be a good idea to put the boxes farther back so I can land first instead of pulling off that combo while I'm still learning the controls. (The spikes should be more obvious too - I didn't notice them on my first playthrough).

The signs and the boxes are kinda plain, and the tiles are repetitive

I'm working on the tiles  :thumbsup:

Then break up the list. A smaller update every 2 or 3 weeks is better than a big update every 3 months. Everyone's interest plummets if you take too long to update. It's happened to me before, and it's hard to get it going again if it happens.

I never noticed that resting on the ceiling restored energy faster. Nice touch. :thumbsup:

 

The original first level was easier than this one. The new first level would be great for a second or third level, because it's harder to navigate and there are a lot of hazards. The shop was kind of hard to figure out. A menu would be easier to figure out than pressing left or right to choose items.

 

The abilities are all good (I like the backdash) but I don't like how moving and jumping uses energy. Those should work no matter what. One thing I'd like to see is a midair dash. Currently, you can only dash if you're standing on solid ground, and a lot of the game is spent flying and falling. The elemental abilities are neat and I'd love to see it change more than the attack, for example, fire lets you walk through lava, and water lets you swim.

about the shop.

I was working on a menu (from the 2nd update), but I removed it, I'll work on this later  :thumbsup:

 

On the 2nd update I added an object that recovers X amount of energy every X seconds:

if you don't overuse the EX points, the energy will increase greatly.

 

About the air dash.

It's a great idea!, I'm gonna work on this later.

 

About the elements

Actually I have 4 Elements right now (3 on the latest update), I planned a lot of stuff for the new update.

 

PS: the air dash is a great idea!

Wow! I really like the new HUD! Looks classy. I looked for bugs last night, but couldn't find any still. Maybe I need to look harder ^^'. I did notice when jumping up while under a ceiling you sit on the ceiling, which though I assume that to be normal, it does get a tiny bit annoying when trying to get through a corrider and jump over something. nothing huge, though. I think im probably just doing it wrong haha.

Enemy ideas: (with minimal or re-useable sprites)

1. Spider (plain), which dangles from roof on string stationary, bump it and it hurts or you drop coins

2. Spider (with green spots), moves up and down on string, squirts green poison, little over time damages you and makes you drop bones, unless you kill it then you instantly cured.

3. Spider (with red spots), same as above plus it can crawl on wall to get closer to you. If he is too easy make his attack also slow Player.

4. Rat (eat it, you can stats), but if you dont and a spider eats it, then spider upgrades to a better spider.

5. Rat with red eye, same as above, but he also poops or farts poison gas!

 

See not that difficult. :) 

Re-use and add integration and depth with variations on same concept.

 

I really think there should be enemy (at least 1) already from the start!
