This is Download Manager 2 DLL extension by Hobbel (h0bbel), assembled into GEX package.

All functions and constants from original extension are present.

This extension doens't require calling init function before using and release function after.

Original help file is included into package due to removing link to original DLL by h0bbel.

Extension assembled by me (Black Doomer). Don't ask me about using this in your games, I'm not a developer of the original DLL.

Hello. Is there any chance of recompiling this DLL to support HTTPS headers too? I mean DM version 1 supported HTTPS but now with DM version 2 it no longer works. I would be really thankful for this! My game downloader keeps breaking and users are no longer able to download or update my game because of this annoying bug.

Do you maybe know the maker of it?
Anyways I managed to fix it by including DM v1 and DM v2 in my game updater. First it runs DM v2 trying to download a file results in a 302 found error instead of downloading the file it downloads an error file, the program tries to read it and says error and after a few seconds it runs DM v1 which is so buggy and often hangs up and it magicaly downloads it. Why does DM v2 have problem with HTTPS and DM v1 doesn't? I mean, that is ridiculous. And still... I hate dropbox for changing that. Someone needs to contact the maker of the dll and tell him to fix this bug. I mean I contacted dropbox twice last week and still no answer by them. They simply ignore me.

Or if possible, is there any way to get the source code of both versions so I can look into them?

Hi, I'm having troubles with this..

Everything works fine, except one thing...

 

If in the DM_OpenDownload I use "C:\Users\havan_000\Desktop\TestingLauncher\Suffering Confusion.exe" as the filepath, it will be alright. But if I use working_directory+"\Suffering Confusion.exe" instead, then it will still download the file, but to nowhere.. So how do I make working_directory work?

Use program_directory instead. GMS is sandboxed, so working_directory doesn't locates to your program directory, AFAIK.
