Just multiply together each number. E.g. if you have 20 names, 20 settings and 30 styles, 20 x 20 x 30 = 12000. Not difficult.

Pretty cool for 2D projects.   :)

Interesting! I really like the trees it produces.
I made something similar a few years back, but never published it (was gonna be used exclusively in a friend's game, but that project seems to have vanished).
http://host-a.net/u/...dural_trees.gmz
trees.jpg
By polishing it and adding leaves I could make the trees pretty similar to the ones that page creates. As it is now you can create scary-looking trees on the go! The four trees shown here all have different settings, which changes what the tree looks like, just like on that page.

Spriter is a really good resource I used this time around.  It is similar to Spine in that it is a skeletal animation software for sprites.  The difference is Spriter has a free version, which allows for you to export and save projects, unlike Spine.  It is a really good tool to speed up animation time :)

A site with plenty of module soundtracks: Mod Archive, and its public domain category (though I guess Attribution and No Derivatives might work, too, as well as Non-Commercial).

For playing these in GM projects I use that library. Note that it uses BASS library, with homepage here. In particular, from Licensing category:

BASS is free for non-commercial use. If you are a non-commercial entity (eg. an individual) and you are not making any money from your product (through sales, advertising, etc), then you can use BASS in it for free. Otherwise, one of the following licences will be required.

--- EDIT ---

Also, you might want to remove Parakeet, as it's discontinued no longer downloadable, sadly. ^^"

It has a lot of music composition resources, but no links to where one might get good (or at least usable) sound samples for free -

Free SFZ players:

SForzando

Basic SFZ player - also plays soundfont files

You install the basic SFZ player by copying it into the program's plugin folder, or to the VST folder found in Program Files. Getting programs to use the VST is up to how the program works.

hammersound.net has a lot of soundfonts of variable quality

Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra is a lot of pretty great (for free) SFZ libraries, nearly a complete orchestra

http://patcharena.co...ele-sfz-format/

is an excellent free ukelele library, in SFZ format, of course.

It has a nice round robin effect and multiple velocity layers, I believe.

3.5 GB of orchestral soundfonts (some of the ones found in it are excellent)

500 MB more of soundfonts

A pretty good piano in SFZ format

http://patcharena.co...fz-instruments/ - a big list of SFZ instruments, a large number of which are free.

http://ariaengine.com/free-sfz-sounds/ - more free SFZ instruments

It's useful if you want to record videos of your game, or make let's plays of other people's Jam entries. The software is capable of livestreaming as well, so you can live stream yourself (or your team) Jamming!

cgMusic is really cool! After finding the DLLs it missed and getting it to work... quite good quality on those MIDIs it churns out with no real effort from your side. :) You still need to edit them manually to cut away random crap that really sounds pregenerated, though.

I've just spent all the time between my previous post and now converting MIDIs to MP3s at solmire.com. Awesome what something as simple as slapping a soundfont on the thing can do for the quality!

Placeholder sprite generator. You give it a search term, image source, and output path, and basically it quickly steals images from the internet for you.

A program that I've made to further simplify process of making pixel fonts - with this you just need to draw all used characters in a row and type them into a field. Outputs data for import into BitFontMaker2.

Great program for making modules and other music types

Also, darkwalker; you should probably organize your lists in the first post alphabetically. They're getting quite long.
