I just installed gamemaker lite for Windows 7. I went through the tutorial and when I tried to run the game I get this error telling me to check that my graphics card is powerful enough and that my drivers are up to date. My graphics card is fine and I double checked my drivers as well, they are up to date. I tried running in a lower resolution and that did not help either. Does anyone know why I am getting this error? How can I fix this?

Download the DirectX 9.0c redistributable from Microsoft and install that. I would guess that some component that GM uses is not available on your system...

I downloaded and installed that already as well. I am running Windows 7 on a partition on a Macbook Pro.
