I decided to give a try at DYLIB development, starting with porting someone's Windows DLL to Macintosh.

So.. I humbly present

for Macintosh

Download it here

There is not much else to say, it works just like Maarten's version, but for Mac. His topic is here: http://gmc.yoyogames...howtopic=448115

Hope you have fun with it. Thanks to Maarten for his great DLL.

Hey there! You're in luck, because I ported ExtremePhysics to Mac just yesterday. Check it out!

I am completely amazed! I spent all of two days searching for a proper physics engine for GM4Mac. What a wild coincidence that you had just finished one yesterday? I was so happy to finally see that beautiful water in the example load correctly and work. I've never been more happy to see water on a computer monitor before! ::lmao::

Anyway, this extension works great as far as I can tell, and I'm happy to be one of the first people to use it. I assume the documentation, tutorials, and everything else are the same as the PC version?

Great that you like it!

Yes, all is the same as the Win version. If you find any bugs, just email me or send me a PM.

Very slick. But, being an LGPL licensed dll, you've got to publish the source code. That way noobs like myself can mess around with the dylib. :)

Ugriffin:

Rest assured, I'm much more nooby than you. The code itself only required minimal changes, and the removal of debug drawing.. The difficult part was setting up XCode :)

But yes, I'll post the source later, as I don't use my Macintosh for regular computing.

Hey, that sounds amazing, its hard to find good additions for GM for Mac. I tried the link though and it says you are out of band width. Is there any other way I can get access to the zip. Thanks. I really look forward to checking it out.

Oh, sure.

Download EP4M.
Take out the .gex file and put it somewhere.
Push the green plus sign in GM4M.
Select 'Install'
Load up the EP4M.gex file.

Then move the installed extension to the right using the blue arrows..
That should be it.
