I've been doing video game streaming lately and it came to me;

I could be streaming game development in Game Maker online! This would be beneficial in many ways:
1. Learn by watching; If I'm coding my own projects, you get to see them come to life in real-time!
2. YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS. There's a chat that's always running; I'll be more than happy to explain my code and techniques, live on stream. What better way to get faster advice and insight?
3. YOU CAN ASK ME FOR HELP. I may be open to questions that you have on your projects, and I'll do my best to help you with your issues as well! I can set up systems and engines... LIVE, and you can ask as I go!

If you request any videos or tutorials specifically, please reach out to me. This is something I'm just starting, so please leave feedback and JOIN IN THE CHAT! The more participation I get, the better!

I did a few sessions, but people seemed largely uninterested. I might turn it into a YouTube thing. Or if it's something you'd like to see, let me know and I'll turn on the stream!

I do like the idea, but it seems like it should revolve around you creating a mini game.
Give yourself some main objectives to cover for the development process, such as game mechanics, something visual, basic sound effects, etc..
Overall, it probably would be better as youtube content, or at least record as you stream if possible, then later upload it to youtube.

If you've got the skill, then go for it!
Good luck!

Very interesting idea. I agree with what was mentioned by Newly Discovered. Give yourself a goal to create a game. Put a link to the stream with a schedule in your signature. Always stream around that schedule. Cover different parts of the development process. The hardest part about getting the stream kickin is when its first starting. You probably won't have many viewers but just keep on promoting every chance you can get. If it is really something you wish to do.

Sorry for late reply..
But also think you have a great idea ...
Hope you either start back up, or do the you tube idea suggested by Newly Discovered..
Maybe you could ask for a game idea,then have your followers suggest tutorials that could be added as part of the game you(we)make..
Could make for an interesting game !!
