Hey all, i havent been messing with game maker on my laptop for months and now all of the sudden it asks me to revalidate my license, i say ok whatever, i insert the key, then it gives me a messagebox telling me it has been successfully validated, then i run my project on it "debug" it then stop debugging and then the gm asks me to revalidate again, i close the software open it again and it again asks me to revalidate, if i dont debug the game and close the gm and open it again, same result, please revalidate your license, what on earth is going on?!

yes gms user i have downloaded right now from their website and still the same problem occurs

Strange... search around here on the forum or search in the bug tracker for someone with similar problems, there might be a solution.

i downloaded the license file form wiki.yoyogames and with that file it works, i dont know why this kept happening but apparently this was my only found solution

Yes downloading the license file manually was the only way I could get it to work. It seemed like the validation failed as my targets were missing when it did let me through.

I recently wen't back GM8.1 and the same problem happened to me. - Thanks for sharing the solution.

This was caused by a server side issue, and should now be fixed - sorry folks!
