I have Game maker installed in 2 computers. One running 32 bits vista and the other running 64 bit windows 7.

I can get the game maker to work flawlessly in my vista.
but in windows 7 I am not able to execute my games or test them. The program opens fine.
I've tried re-installing, changing it's compatibility mode and bunch of other stuff but nothing seems to work.
The error I get when I am trying to run my game is "invalid floating point operation" like 3 times than it closes by giving "unexpected error occurred".
This is really frustrating can somebody please help me solve this issue.

I've tried running different games and, the files are not corrupted I checked them. I also tried building the game ground up but still the same problem occurs. I am not able to find any lead in the forums.

my computer specs are:

64 bit windows 7
8 gb ram
1 gb dedicated video mem
6770 graphics card

So you have this problem with every GameMaker game ? Not with other games for example ?

Try re-installing in safe mode. Also, remember with Win 7 sometimes, you will need to be a full admin. Last but not least, make sure any anti virus software is turned off all the way when you are installing.

Also, try running the game by right clicking and choosing run as Admin.

I hope this helps a little bit.

There's the problem: 64-bit windows.

Try using 32-bit.
