I have a GM physics problem that i have been trying for days to sort and i'm hoping someone would be so kind as to offer advice before i end up in an institution?
I have a physics world in Studio and i want to join several objects together to form a rigid object that acts as one object. The joints need to be rigid with no rotation and no elasticity, indeed they need to act like rigid welds.
I cant seem to find a suitable physics expression or code that would do this - any ideas?

have you tested with revolute joints (with a max and min rotation of 0), or a prismatic joint with a maximum force of 0 and a limit of 0 too?

Nocturne you are a saviour; i had tried the revolute joints for hours and with various limiting angles of max & min rotation but after your reply i revisited it and changed the ang_limit variable to 'true' and hey presto rigidity (missus) - i can't thank you enough - if i had £1million i'd slip you a few quid! - i owe you one
