I've been trying to figure out how to change the taskbar icon for a Windows Game in GM:S. I feel like this should be very simple, and yet I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone know?

Isnt the taskbar icon the same as the game desktop icon? Try this:

Resources -> Global Game Settings -> Windows

and then try changing the game's icon to something else it should work.

It shows how to change taskbar icon for any executable. So you can compile your game and then change the icon using the tutorial above. GOodluck!

In GM8, the taskbar icon is the same as the desktop icon, but that doesn't appear to be the case in GM Studio. Either that, or there is something wrong with my computer... I'm running Windows 7 fyi.
