Hi!

Until today actualization, the speed in my games was the same on Android, HTML5 and Windows.

Now when i run an Android game the speed is faster than in the others environments.

I usually try the games on Windows when I develop and later when i try it on Android the speed room itīs different.

Anyone know what can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks!

I get the same problem when exporting any of my projects to Android. It looks like the room speed has gone crazy !

I have tested it on HTC Desire S - Android 2.3.5, Samsung Galaxy S2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7" - Android 4.0.3 with the same results. Add an additional note to BugTracker issue : [0005809] hopefully the bug will be looked into soon.

My room speed is at 30. I don't think I have ever changed this setting in the history of using GameMaker. Not sure if there is a work around for this one, it sounds like a bug, as it is fine in Windows and HTML5.

Same problem here!
And the orientation block doesn't work when testing. Don't know if it works when building the apk.

My device (Samsung Galaxy) works fine with 2.2 Android. So I'm wondering if it's an issue with later versions? Please post devices and Android versions...

I've been wondering about this as well. Android games perform a lot faster since the update and also are more likely to crash unfortunately.

My device is a Samsung Galaxy S2 running android 2.3.3

well my android runs the game in an insane speed. im using HUAWEI U8650 and running 2.3.3. The 2.3.3 worked well with the last update of game maker, but the newest one screwed everything up.

to add, only the games exported with the latest game maker studio update have the speed issue, my phone still runs my old games with the normal speed.

Guys I'm sure there's a fix coming out tomorrow or tuesday.
Never have YoYo Games been hesitant or even slow to fix a bug related to Studio.
Sure it's easy to be mad at them for releasing a buggy update considering you paid $398+ for the software, but give them a break, they have a lot on their hands and they're doing one hell of a good job.
