GML Multiplayer functions

Are these GML Multiplayer functions supported in the HTML5 part of GameMaker Studio?

I'm pretty sure the mplay functions have been made obsolete (not totally sure, I'm new to the studio stuff). They originally worked with Direct X's multiplayer functions if I'm not mistaking, meaning that if they do still exist they would only work for Windows. If you check out the GM:S roadmap it looks like there won't be new networking functions for a few versions. Try looking into something like node.js for getting networking into an HTML5 game, it's pretty popular with HTML5 web developers, and I think a few of the other multiplayer HTML5 games on here have used it.
