sandbox game lagging help

I am using GM (game maker) and I ran into a programming whole... my game lags allot and I have tried every code and tactic I can think of (limiting the graphics, instance-deactivate but nothing works, if you think you can help plz tell me whats wrong... the file is here http://www.host-a.ne...world_demo.gm81

Try to make rooms smaller with less objects in them.
A lot of objects cause lag. :turned:

Its a sandbox game,
so there will be a lot of objects.
I tried using instance_deactivate to deactivate everything out of the view.
but as you can see that didn't help
any other ideas

Just make smaller rooms with less objects, and seperate the things in diffirent rooms, instead of using one big rooom :turned:

I don't think thats the way to fix it... if minecraft had a different room for each chunk I don't think anyone would like to play it... maybe try to add chunks...

seed's and chunks confuse me...
could you give me an example or something

and i am using   :GM8_new:  lite

I don't know if you can do much things on lite, because I don't know wich codes work on lite or pro... and I also never made a chunk system... its things that take some time, chunks are like small maps on the Room, when the player enters a chunk, that chunk is loaded and the rest chunks are forgotten... don't know how i will explain this, maybe someone else knows it better than me :s
