Hey guys, my question is:

Can i use my usb converter + Snes controller to control my games?

i've looked into allot of examples of gamepad controls but none of them supported my usb controller, is there a way? thank you!

As long as your SNES Controller is getting picked up in the same manner as a generic USB controller, it'll work fine. However, chances are you'll probably need a driver of some sort for this, since just a USB adapter is likely not going to be enough. I would probably check the internets for this one.

I don't see how your controller would be different from a normal controller connected to the USB port.

I suppose you've already tried GM's built-in Joystick functions?

If all else fails, you could always use a keyboard emulator like JoyToKey to play anything with gamepad.

Boot up the Gaming Devices control panel and write down which setting lights up for each button on the SNES pad. Those are the values you'll use in GM.

Wait.

Is your name really Mickey or did you use a porn star's name for your forum ID?
(... crap, I shouldn't make it obvious that I know who Mickey G is...)

I guess a lot of people call themselves Mickey G, according to Google.

Show us your code. And are you saying the Gaming Devices control panel doesn't even register the NSES gamepad?
