Hi, I just bought the ios module addon to Studio. I was looking forward to testing my game on my idevice but from what I have now read I think I have to buy that $100 apple membership thing first? Is this correct or is there some other way arround it?
Thanks,
Thanks,

to publish an ios game you need the certificates period. No way around it.
It's $99/yr. Of course I understand if you don't have the money off-hand, this is an issue... but there is nothing you can do about it.
I'm only %50 sure on needing them to test however. I'm pretty sure you need the provisioning certs to test the game on a device, could be wrong. I'm sure someone with more experience in this will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry to tell you the bad news, but you DO need the iOS dev account to test on your device, as well as publishing. You need the certificates you get from the account to 'bake' the YoYo Runner, and you need that to do testing.
Saying that, I only had Drawing Galaxy working on my actual iPod for about a week before I released it, so it's definitely possible to make the game in windows, pay apple and then get it on your device (and the app store)!

Yeah the whole need for the certificates, etc... means you need to get into apples ios dev program in order to get fully setup.
Also, nujuat's game is EXCELLENT - agreed!

Don't worry, I have had a LOT of disappointment while developing Drawing Galaxy. But don't give up, it is anything but disappointing when your app is on the store (and you get nice comments from peopleOk, thanks for the help although it is a bit disapointing
