Hello, the final version of zombie has been released. I would really appreciate your feedback because I have put a very large amount of effort into this game to make it the best it can be.

It is available here

http://sandbox.yoyog...299-zombie-mall

It has many features and a large variety of weapons, enemies, npcs, cheats and scenery.

Enjoy :)

The screen shots definitely make me want to try it out. You sir, have a sale.

Edit: Or at least you would have, except I don't like to use installers with small indie games, it's totally a personal thing of mine. If you decide to upload the game in a zip file I will definitely check it out though.

Edit 2: As you requested I played it and found some things I thought worth mentioning.

At the moment it's kind of bland, although I didn't actually play as much as I was going to because of the frame rate (this is with lighting turned off). Being a base of 30 was quite slow for my liking to begin with but it got worse as I played, I have a hunch it may be the gore.

The graphics were pretty good and the difference in style between the dynamic and scenery objects didn't bother me like it usually does. Something annoying was I couldn't figure out which objects were part of the floor and which would block my path.

I think I found 4 survivors, and then lost them again while traversing the mall. The path finding for the friendlies is I'm guessing the same for the zombies which means they get stuck between objects and left behind unintentionally. They also tried to shoot the zombies through walls and didn't move around at all during combat, I ended up getting stuck between two allies at one point and didn't realise I was getting hurt (I recommend some kind of indicator when getting hurt).

Enter isn't a good button for actions when the mouse is used for aiming because it means taking my hand off to press it. The space button didn't seem to do anything, it's supposed to bring up a weapon menu? Nothing happened.

The slow motion was an interesting feature, did you add it because slow-mo is cool or does it have a particular purpose. I myself never needed it but I didn't enjoy the crosshair effect.

There are a few other small things I noticed: you can reload even when your ammunition is full, the shift button is a strange button for toggling windowed mode I naturally go it for sprinting (maybe change it to a function key), and the music comes on again after I press M to turn it off, zombies spawning at their pre-designated spawn points suddenly can be annoying (I didn't test what would happen if I stood on top of one) maybe don't spawn them if the spawn point is within the view.

I did enjoy my short playthrough and the screen shots make me think I'm missing out on some stuff, I will try it again to get further if the fps is dramatically increased (raising it to 60 would be good also). Some suggestions are deactivating objects that aren't in the view, if the gore is achieved with objects you could change it to use a surface which would allow the gore to stay on screen while massively increasing speed. If you need any help feel free to contact me.
