Hi guys, does GM exit from the script that is running in that moment when it runs out of memory?
Today i had enough of my 3d terrain with his blocky texture from a normal textured primitive, looked too horrible...
So i decided to use a single surface for every chunk (14x14 chunks) and to keep the same texture resolution, so 1600x1600 pixels per surface...
Obviously i ran out of memory but when that happened, the only way i had to notice it was only that the script stopped running, i was in the loading room watching at the loading bar for 5 minutes then i understood that something went really wrong xD
Is possible to make GM atleast pop an error if it runs out of memory?
And is possible to make the surfaces somehow lighter because of the high number of chunks, without reducing it? (The most important thing is to keep the resolution to 1600x1600)
