hi guys so i had been using the game maker studio beta, i had the key to the final, but i did not have the ios or android modules, and was testing it a bit more, i decided to update it today, after loading up my game, i see that all of the rooms to my levels were removed from the game, only 10 rooms, which were used for credits, and other loading stuff stayed loaded, then i try to load them from the folder, i get a message saying Error: too many rooms, you can only have 10 of these, i'm wondering if its supposed to be like this, how can i fix it, or will all my rooms just go to waste?
thanks in advance guys
is there a 10 room limit?

Hmmm... This is strange. This may only be in GMS, as I have probably used more than 10 rooms in GM8. Contact Yoyo, that may help

I have 60+ rooms of varying sizes, all imported from an existing GM8.1 game. Room size range from 640x480 to 4000x600. No room limit encountered.

you say you "updated" from the beta... Does that mean that you just updated the program, or that you bought a licence? If you haven't bought a licence then Studio will be severely limited to you...

the problem solved after just reloading the save file, i clicked don't save changes, when i loaded it it worked fine, but some of the changes i had made in the beta version got removed along, but it wasn't a big deal, and what i meant was, i bought html5 so i had the free update, i had the license with html5 on it, i kept the beta to test my games on ios, however yesterday i felt like it was pointless to just keep it as a beta, so i uninstalled it, and downloaded the installer from the website, and installed that, so i know i had updated, and yes i had the license key, either way the problem is solved, i don't know if it was because of updating from the beta, corrupt save file or anything else, i just hope it wasn't an important or significant bug that happens often.

Updating from the beta to a new version could be problematic due to the large number of changes that have been made to GM:S since the beta ended... however I'm happy that you got it sorted out.
