you do know the people with steam are more likely to come to a topic labeled steam then someone who doesn't so in a way isn't this being biased?

This ought to be very interesting.

Perhaps if we all group together and ask very nicely, Mike, Russell, Nocturne, Chronic or whomever will answer this question: what is this interesting fuzz all about?

How does that make a difference? Steam itself is free, most of the games on it are not.

My computer is old.

that doesnt matter, you can run steam on "any" pc or even mac :P, as stated before the games however are not free(or guaranteed to work on your old pc), there are a number of free to play games too(18 as of last year, more now) and you can even register a number of physical game disc games to get a free downloadable version so you dont need a disc

Well, I want a new one anyways, so it's pointless to install things. That's what I was trying to say, but I had to say that because I hate touch-typing.

Yes I do, but that's only because I like to buy the odd game off Steam though, I usually disable the Steam launcher from games soon after so I can stop that waste of code from hogging my memory.

Personally, I don't like Steam and I wouldn't advise YYG to go near it, it works for some and fair play to them, but forcing those who don't want it to have it is just a gateway for piracy.

Edit:
I'd like to point out that the amount of memory that Steam uses to run kills Skyrim for me.

Edit:
Actually, it kills just about any game I attempt to play on my computer.

Our game is being published to Steam next week! We are looking forward to it! [link]

Not too many GM games on there, from what we've seen. It'd be nice to see more make it on there.

How on Earth would you know if a game is or is not made with GameMaker?
