I was recently playing with stereoscopic 3d in GameMaker and this is what I came up with:

Try staring at the images, crossing your eyes, and focussing on the third middle image that appears. Your eyes think they are seeing the same image, and merge it together to make it seem 3D. Its pretty cool!
