Hi,

 

Has the download link has changed again?  For us who have paid for all 3 books (now combined into 1), its really annoying the link keeps changing to download it or at least email the people who have bought the book the new one when you do. 

 

I dont want to post all the links I have used in the past (for obvious reasons), but the thank you one takes me to a screen with a link back to the main site only.  The link further up the forum ("Checkout The Latest GameMaker Book" - Now 275 Pages one) also takes me to the main webpage.  The original link you sent when I purchased it takes me a download that says "Updated May 10, 2013" (your post is from 8th June above).  Is this infact the latest version?

 

Any help appreciated

I had a few files corrupt, so I had to redo parts of the site.

There is now one download page, and I'll email everyone when a revision is made.

While you're at it, have you considered cleaning up your main site? It looks like all you've been doing is adding more and more stuff without consideration for what's already there. For instance, you have 3 duplicate sections about your book's contents --- is that really necessary?

 

Your site looks pretty unattractive from a buyer's perspective. The link to the demo chapter and the "Buy" button are way too obscure, hidden amongst the overdone advertising and thumbnails. There are also other serious design issues: Excessive scrolling, disorganized formatting, poor grammar, etc.

 

In the long run, I strongly recommend that you commission a web designer to give your website a rework.

The book looks interesting, but I have to agree that your site needs an overhaul. The first thing that came to my mind when I seen your site was one of those scam sites that try to sell you a house flipping system, or real estate investment literature... all that was missing was the part about how I could be making a six figure income in 2 months and a picture of you by the pool sipping a martini with your mansion in the background.
