YoYo Games today announces the availability of ten of its most popular video game titles on the Mac App Store. “Froad,” “Pollushot,” “Reflexions,” “Simply Minesweeper,” “Simply Solitaire,” “Simply Word Search,” “Skydiver Mach II,” “Skydiver Drop Zone,” “Sync Simple,” and “They Need to Be Fed” have all been developed with GameMaker: Studio, YoYo Games’ lightning fast, powerful and easy to use cross-platform games development technology. With GameMaker: Studio’s Mac OS X export option, YoYo Games’ titles have been published to the Mac App Store in record time with no additional porting or development resources required.

“We’re thrilled to introduce such a wide selection of titles to the Mac App Store,” said Stuart Poole, head of publishing at YoYo Games. “Having created these games as native Mac Apps from the same source code used to create other formats, we’re demonstrating the proof of GameMaker: Studio’s power and versatility.”

YoYo Games’ titles for the Mac all take advantage of OS X Lion’s full-screen feature and run natively as Mac Apps. YoYo Games’ titles in the Mac App Store are £2.99, €3.99 and $4.99 and can be purchased and downloaded in one easy step with an iTunes account. GameMaker: Studio is available now at www.yoyogames.com/gamemaker/studio.

Agghh...I need a new cheap Game Maker, god! C'mon, GM: Studio can cost nearly $500, and HTML5 costed $99!

It meets pretty much all of the aspects given in the Windows version, only it doesn't support the mplay functions used for networking.

Its glitchy as hell, you should see what happens when you get a suggestion for a function on lion, the windows reorder themselves randomly to the point where i can only close using force quit. The problem isnt features, its how unstable it is. That is about GM btw not the games, the games are great
