Throughout our game project there has been a lot of code changes, which has resulted a lot of unused variables. Is there any way to get information of variables that are never used in the game?

When I search trough scripts I use CTRL + F.
And when I search through objects, I recommend you search trough the object information. which is found by pressing Show Information.
This method is a bit slow and annoying to do.
But it does the job.

This is a very good question. I'd wish that GM had a feature to search for a word in the full source code (or in this case, all the scripts and objects), like so many other code editors have...
