has anyone thought of extending gm studio into other platforms such as ipod psp and such it would be good for the psp development because it wouldnt be converting the files over from gm to pbp and the resources

Assuming you mean iPod Touch, it already supports it. Any other iPod platforms, would be impossible (and require modification to your iPod's OS, unless it exported as plugins for Rockbox). A PSP runner was created, just not released; I believe you can still buy GM games for your PS3 & PSP through through the PSN store though.
