Hello everyone, my name is Pete and I am a college student entering my senior year. Since the end of last summer, I've been working on developing a two player turn-based fighting game (similar to Super Mario RPG in style) for a commercial release. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I believe the game possess a very deep level of strategy immune to simple algorithms and basic number crunching. I have invested a large amount of time developing the game's art and have made some solid headway laying the foundations of the programming, but a lot of work remains to be done on both ends.

So what am I looking for? I need a hardworking programmer to help speed up the game making process. I'm sure that with the help another team member, the game can be completed within a year maximum if not much sooner. A programmer who can use 39dll would be great seeing as this game is largely intend for online play, but a familiarity with 39dll is certainly not a requirement for the job. I currently use GM HTML5 but would not mind upgrading to GM Studio of GM 8 Standard if need be to work with you. The game will run as a windows application, however, so only the basic Studio package would be needed.

So what will I be doing? I will work primarily on the art but will also contribute to the programming as needed. It all really depends on how much work you decide you want to do. I honestly think that the game's art is actually quite good for an indie game and is worth seeing before you make up your mind on the project.

So what's in it for you? I'm prepared to offer you a percentage of the game's future profits for your contribution to the game. How much is simply a matter of how much of the coding you decide to do.

If you're interested in working with me or have any questions, please email me at wagnerpf@stu.lemoyne.edu. We can set up a time to skype during which I can show you what I've got so far in terms of art an programming and discuss the project in more detail. Hopefully we can also work out a contract that will be agreeable to both parties. Don't be afraid to contact me! I promise I won't bite!
