All feedback is welcome, positve or negative, I need to know the feelings and reactions of all people so if you have the time for, write a little review here for me, to know what to improve, fix, add or delete from this early engine of the game.

Hi,
I played your game, and you have some serious potential in this game, I feel.
I don't know if this is a clone, but it is brilliant!
Add tip/messages on the screen to let people know how to fight.
The immediate action is great! Never lose it!
Keep this thing totally simple, and polish it off with archtecture/world and sound effects..

You could pause for a cut-scene and have some chinese dialogue and add comedy that way.
And, make boxing rounds to break up the action, and build intensity.

Add non-human monsters to fight, too, small and big. Like dogs, and godzilla, etc.

Would you please have a look at my game and tell me what you think?

Thank for the review dude. I can't say It's only original work, i took ideas, move types, and reactions from a lot of games, but it's not a clone of an existing unique game.

Add tip/messages on the screen to let people know how to fight.
The immediate action is great! Never lose it!

Thats a really good idea for a tutorial or first level, so i'll definitley use it.

Keep this thing totally simple, and polish it off with archtecture/world and sound effects..

Yep, this is the final version of the fight engine, maybe i'll fix some little bugs i can find, but in general it will be as it is. I'm working in adding some other mechanics to the general engine, then I'll start adding some polish work to it.

You could pause for a cut-scene and have some chinese dialogue and add comedy that way.
And, make boxing rounds to break up the action, and build intensity.

I thought of this as between-rounds dialogue but maybe adding it in the middle of the battle is a good idea too :D

Add non-human monsters to fight, too, small and big. Like dogs, and godzilla, etc.

This is a good idea too, but maybe cause of the little free time i have right now, it wont be possible, maybe as an expansion pack later if this game gets some good attention.

Thanks a lot again for the review and the bump for this topic, i'll check out your game and review it too.

This is pretty cool, Where did you made the sprites? I can imagine my 2d animator to work for this game as well.

My only gripe is that I find it hard to play it with those fighters taking up most of the screen... maybe you should implement a smash brother camera system, and while at it make the room screen bigger... the fighters are just too big on the screen, maybe some view space can ease it.

Other than that, very good fighting game engine you got there.

Thanks for the reply dude, I made all the animations in PIVOT. I also thought the players are a little too big, so I thought about that camera style. Maybe i will implement it.

Thanks, eltantillo.

Hey, this is an interesting game! The AI was quite good. Either I suck, or it was already kinda difficult at level 1. Graphics are really good too, I really liked the main menu, and the deck thing (which I kinda got confused on how it worked). This has potential, so keep up the good work!

Also, what are these things that are dropped when you hit your enemy?

Thanks :D, the Deck interface isn't finished yet, you scroll through the cards using eft and right arrows and assign them using the up arrow key. with some you will see your stats at the right sheet change, and some are passive skills (i haven't added all the descriptions to the cards). The things that are dropped are cards, when you collect them using the punch key, they will be available in the deck page.

This game was really good.
The graphics were really impressive and the AI was nicely coded.

Only problem was that the cards sometimes got in the way of the attacks.
Maybe have the cards disappear after a certain amount of time.
It could start of blinking slowly then having the blinking increase right before the card disappears.

But nonetheless, the game was good.

Thanks, all those cards are only for testing purposes, in the actual game there will be only one, or two at most, dropped cards.

Thanks for taking time for writing you review

Eltant you bastard!! You still freaking got it! I am so excited to see that you are still thriving with the great gamemaker ideas man! This game is a great start and cannot wait to see it progress.

P.S. nice easter egg on defaulting the characters name on your name
