I've uploaded about 5 games over the past year, some of them complete, some of them still in development. Yoyogames ALWAYS disallows me to set my games to 'Play Now', because there is 'no directX or firefox support'.

So my question is: HOW do you add 'DirectX or Firefox support' to your game? Not having the Play Now function dramatically decreases the amount of players, and I want everyone to enjoy my games. But if most people just quit because it's download only, I'll never reach that goal!

Can someone help me?

The Play Now function no longer works and does not support newer browsers.

Ok. Thanks.

I hope that one day the Play Now will be fixed since I would seriously like to see that.

P.S.: So how come some games DO have Play Now?
P.S.S: I also mentioned the link to the plugin is broken. Probably one of the reasons.

Some games still have play now, because the Play Now function was not removed, it is only corrupt. And i also believe in the future, they are planning a revamp for sandbox.

Well let's hope that's soon. I would like to have Gloop be playable online at some point.

I hope so too. Guess the only thing I can do now is wait and hope for it to work one day. :(

PlayNow support is dead, it won't be coming back.

YYGs has stated that it requires to many resourses to maintain.

If you want your game to be web-playable then your solution is HTML5.

Ok thanks for the information. I still think it's sad though. Removing one of the options where Yoyogames has become famous for. :(

It;s not that bad. All "play now" does is secretly download the game to your computer. XD

I know. But most people don't play a game because it isn't Play Now.

Actually, the problem is within the people, not within Yoyogames. :P
