Are surfaces compatible with the Mac? I can't seem to get them to work... there's never an error message but when I go to draw the surface then it either doesn't draw it or usually draws it but not in the way it should, for example:
- when using a code to change the blend mode then it seems to change the alpha instead
- when trying to draw a surface then it instead of it drawing what is on the surface then it drew chunks of "screen"... like, garbage data or something... stuff not from the game
- when trying to draw a surface then sometimes it just draws a black box

It's not that I'm using them wrong either, as I have tried running an already-made GameMaker file and it had the same results...

Bump... still have absolutely no idea. For now I assume that surfaces can't be done on the Mac, but if they can I'd hate to be avoiding all that functionality...

I am still new to Game-Maker (Mac) but I am making a doodling program and it uses surfaces. Here is the code I used to create it:

surface=surface_create(480,480)
