HTML 5 is great!...So far converting my GM 7 and 8 games is fairly simple.
My best tip so far: Make sure all the sprites, objs, sounds etc. in your game have different names before you upload them into HTML5. Even if an OBJECT has the same name as a SPRITE...it seems things can get really scrambled up.
My only gripes so far...
1) I still can't get the background music to work...I tried several codes sound_loop (your_music_here)...but I must be plugging them in the wrong way. Also...I can't change the volume of the regular sounds (Note: So far I tried Drag and Drop only)
2) I didn't recieve any notice about the free upgrade from the original HTML purchase to STUDIO. I found out about it in a forum. Also...the upgrade requires me to plug in my HTML5 licence...but I can't find it. It would have been better if it automatically updated itself (from HTML 5 to Studio)...just like GM 8 automatically updates itself.

You made this post twice. I answered your question on the other one.

Note: I hope it's not too complicated...I'm good with Drag and Drop...but not so good with a lot of codes.
