Did anyone watch the latest episode? The Cookie Princess??!?!!!

Absolutely brilliant! I love the cartoon... It is off the wall and truly surreal, but at the same time actually contains some pretty cool life lessons for kids to learn... I remember one episode where this guy went around changing people into body parts and Fin was turned into a giant foot. They chased the guy to find out why he did it, and in any other cartoon he'd have been scarred as a child, or would repent and say sorry etc etc etc... But in this one no! He says he did it because he's an evil b**tard! Lesson? In life there are people who do bad things just because!

I love Adventure Time! :D I love how it's so random and surreal but still maintains plenty of internal coherence and it's not afraid to push the limits on cartoons a bit. (When I was first getting into it, it caught me majorly off-guard when Finn said he was gonna kill someone. XP) I don't watch it on a regular basis (as in, I don't catch every new episode), but I do watch it pretty much whenever it's on.

So who's your favorite princess? I vote LSP. X3

I am a fan of Adventure Time as well. I watched the latest episode, it was pretty good. I like the other CN shows like Regular Show and Amazing World of Gumball as well. (Plus the new season of Futurama has just started...yay)

I first heard about it a while ago, but one of my friends told me it was trying to push to much of it's internet fanbase onto itself and try to hard to do what MLP does a lot of the time. So I didn't bother with it, untill a few weeks ago, when I heard this.

I had to watch the episode it came from, after that I watched a few more, and I've kind of been jumping around watching them here and there as I feel.

A few things caught me off-guard: one being the fact that it actually has some sort of continuity (thats always welcome). With a lot of cartoons you don't get as much of it. Another thing being the Mushroom War and just how strange the backstory of the world and characters are. When I finally saw this stuff, I saw also surprised.
And this episode was a little bit of a total WUT moment when they use the anus of a monster as an escape rout. e_e

How can you say that? The aniamtion is fluid and nicely polished, in my opinion. It has the ability to convay the emotion it intends to without cluttering what doesn't need to be cluttered. The title art for each episode is pretty nicely done as well, if you ask me.

I haven't taken the time to sit down at watch an episode of this show, but I will say that it looks extremely similar to Regular Show, which I really dislike. I dunno, maybe it's the best thing ever, but I'm doubting that, since I don't really enjoy jokes about "using the anus of a monster as an escape rout."

I will say though, judging from the commercials, the animation does look a lot smoother than that of Regular Show, if not a little chaotic. It also sounds like it has an actual plot(unlike RS), even if it is a bit random. I have seen a few clips of the show on youtube whilst doing unrelated searches, and I have laughed at some of them.

I've only seen some of one episode of Regular Show, so I really don't have much of an opinion on it. It looked like okay animation, smooth style, etc. I did notice the similarities to Adventure Time (noodle arms, etc.), which seems odd.

I wouldn't say plot exactly, because episodes can be very self contained, but things from one episode do carry over into the next, or reappear in later ones. So it has a continuity, just not really a plot. . . I think.

Adventure Time is awesome. Anyone remember the episode where that little drop of sweat (I think that's what it is) gets on Finn and his face goes all morbid?

I caught it once at a party/outing/thing (at Kalahari). I don't really understand why people like it so much. It doesn't really have anything special in it. It's just sort of meh.

I'm a sucker for bubblegum, and I like flame princess and jungle princess. They're pretty. ^-^ And slime princess.

Marceline doesn't count as a princess. I kind of like her, but she's too overplayed as Finn's "dark desire", you know? She's cool in some episodes.

True, and... yeah, they would make a cute couple. but every time they get close she tries to get all creepy. Too bad they'd never have Finn make a move.
